A HOLIDAY MESSAGE FROM MIKE RUPPERT

The first thing I want to say is how deeply touched and encouraged I have been by all of the messages of support, donations and good wishes you have sent. They are saving my life on a daily basis. While it is so very difficult to recall the disastrous and painful events of this last year, no matter how challenging they have been, you have given me hope and the chance for a new beginning.

I believe there is more that I have yet to contribute.

I am now in New York and, thanks to the help of doctors who are familiar with my work and the tests it has brought, I am making progress. And 'progress' is a word we should all hold close on this Christmas of 2006. With the challenges of Peak Oil becoming ever more apparent, with a world situation that sometimes seems gloomy at best, I am focusing on the love and hope you are giving to me and hopefully to each other this holiday season.

In these I find good reason to celebrate. While there are those who would celebrate the demise of FTW, I suspect that they have already understood that they and their activities are, at best, inconsequential. The map we have drawn is clear and being read by many on their own. Many of you have communicated to me the changes you have made in your personal lives thanks to the work done by all the great writers who graced our pages over the years.

My personal challenges include recovering my health and cleaning up a lot of wreckage that still remains. As you know, we are trying to save some 4,000 copies of Rubicon, find a permanent home for the web site, and pay off a lot of debts. We are looking for a new, less expensive web host, and I am looking for new ways to occupy my time as I recover my health and address the financial and personal challenges that lie ahead. When all is said and done there will be no black marks on FTW's history or my own.

One thought that occurs to me strongly is that while so many in the Peak Oil movement have done so much to educate people about the coming challenges, we have not done enough to inspire hope in or take care of each other. Since returning from Venezuela I have been in touch with many Peak Oilists and have found this to be a shared awareness and concern. But in the generosity and kindness I have felt since being in both Canada and New York I have a new attitude emerging based upon a simple human kindness that penetrates and defeats all gloom.

In reading Richard Heinberg's lastest book on the Oil Depletion Protocol I find inspiration to write a fictional account about the many qualities in the human race that are both worth saving and which may actually prevent much needless suffering. While I have retired from investigative journalism I have not retired from writing and I am exploring some ideas to give us all motivation and hope. The world seems burned out on war and tension and perhaps this can point the way to new approaches for our mission.

We have a lot to do still and this Christmas reminds me that, as important as it is to take care of the world, it is even more important to take care of each other; to care for the caregivers.

With deep gratitude for the Colin Campbells, the Richard Heinbergs the Matt Savinars, the Julian Darleys, the Mark Robinowitzes, the Barry Silverthorns, the Megan Quinns, that Pat Murphys, the Mike Kanes, the Matt Simmonses, the Roscoe Bartletts, and all those whose names I can't possibly list here, and with special gratitude for all of you who have sent me your love I say:

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and may we continue to show our love for and to each other throughout 2007. Unlike oil, love is a renewable resource.

Michael C. Ruppert

Without a doubt, this message is one of the highlights of the season for me, 100 times more meaningful than all the tinsel and Christmas cards. Here is where real hope is found. And it's very encouraging to know that we haven't heard the last from Mike, even if it's not investigative journalism.

Hell yeah! Mike the world needs you to come to Washington DC on January 3rd and burn the 9/11 commission report, with as many people as you can bring.

JANUARY 3RD 9-11 TRUTH ACTION, WASHINGTON DC

Burn your copy of the 9-11 Commission Report in front of Congress on January 3rd, 2007

Seize the moment with a new tea party for the new millenium.

The 9-11 Truth Movement should converge on the new business as usual 110th Congress, and bring as much media and independent video as possible. As Nancy Pelosi plays footsie with George W. Bush, the movement will burn a giant stack of 9-11 Omission Commission reports outside the building.

This is the time. This is the opportunity. If you can get to the US Capitol on January 3rd with a copy of the 9-11 Commission Report (printed off the internet, or purchased), then make a huge bonfire. Challenge the congress to see the movement. Challenge them to acknowledge the crowds. Challenge them to respond.

Please pass this to everyone in the 9-11 Truth Movement. Time is of the essence. January 3rd, 2007 is when the new Congress seizes power.

As far as I know, burning the flag is First Amendment protected speech. Therefore burning this state sponsored collection of lies should also fall under First Amendment protected speech, as well as petitioning the government for a redress of grievances.

This is a NON-VIOLENT and PEACEFUL action to petition the US Congress for a redress of grievances: so that they will re-investigate the attacks of September 11th 2001. The bonfire should be done in a safe, open area and in a responsible manner with no chance of property damage or injury to anyone, preferably outside of the tight security zone directly surrounding the Capitol building.

TV and print media reporters will be there to cover the changing of the guard in Congress. Their attention is crucial.

PS.

For this protest in Washington, DC to be a success, it's going to take at least several dozen -- better several hundred -- persons to participate (a million would be nice :). Please forward the info on to your lists and friends in the region.

I realize that some don't agree with this tactic. However, think how happy you'll be if this action gets broadcast everywhere, upstages the Congress, and Congresspersons start getting asked numerous questions about the failings of the 9-11 Commission Report as a result.

I see it on par with our founding fathers burning King George III in effigy.

What a wonderful message, Mike. Just hearing from you is good, but to also read that you are on the mend and still full of ideas and spirit is very heartening to us all. Thank you.

Your message is a boost to all of us.

There is much irony in the metaphor, but old Buddhist saying goes: When you light a lamp for somebody, it also brightens your own path.

Take care of yourself and yes, let us all take care of each other.

Glad to hear from Mike.

I wish I could save the books.

Please publish current web traffic. It may be possible that I could host one of the mirror sites. I recommend several mirror sites for a more secure and permanent record of FTW achievements.

Oh, thank you, Mike. It's great to hear from you again! I am so happy to hear you sounding so positive. I think you would be just the right person to write thoughtfully of real hope and inspiration in the time of Peak Oil. Coming from you, who knows intimately all the pitfalls and problems, it could be truly meaningful. I, for one, look forward to it!! Very glad you are recovering with good assistance.

Mike, I hope that everything will be resolved for you this next year! I hope that "W" and all who were involved in 911 and the coverup will get what they deserve in 2007! That book burning of the book of lies sounds like an AWESOME plan! I am sorry that I can't be there!

Anyways, if you're still looking for a new website host, maybe you should try globat.com . For a mere $8 a month you can get a 100Gb website with 1 Tb transfer a month.. that should be all you need?

I am happy to hear that you are recovering Mike! I attended America - From Freedom to Fascism in March 2006 and saw you speak at Southern Oregon University. I was the person who bought your book and asked you what to invest in (you said gold). I want to wish you the best and I hope you have a wonderful year ahead.

Long, but thoughtful and raises many important points. Biofuels cannot and should not be used in an effort to save a dying system.

Recently I have been looking into the technology of solar air heaters. You can check this out easily as there is plenty of information on the web. It's so low-tech that anyone can build one out of junk materials, yet it has an astoundingly good space heating effect. Why hasn't such a good idea been implemented on a large scale? Because of cheap fossil fuels, the bane of humanity. I'm not sure I will build one, though, because I live in an old schoolhouse whose entire south side is windows. You guessed it -- we get a beautiful greenhouse effect.

I too offer you best wishes and salutations. I do not know if you have received my email regarding your participation in the film "Trails of Tears" that we shot together at your office before so many of these things that have happened to you ensued, but a full version is available for viewing at

HEALING FOR ALL

Hey Michael,
I want to thank you for all that you have done and all the acrifices you have made of over the years but especially for FTW. I have so enjoyed it and depended on it as a real resource for the real TRUTH about what is going on in our back yard and the world. I am so very sorry to hear about your bad health and about having to stop your work. I am glad that the site will remain, at least for a while. The world is a better place because you were here because you empowered people with information. The same way Jesus did and of course we all know what happened to him and so many others like him. May God Bless you and take care of you and keep you safe from harm. We need you Mike. The world needs you and few million others just like you. I wish I had the wherewithal to buy the remaining books in storage.
One of the guidelines for posting on your blog is "Information that willl save lives". Well I have a couple of pieces of information that will do just that and it will help you as wel if you choose to avail yourself of the opportunity. It is non-invasive,requires no medication,no doctors visits and is extremely cheap considering that it will cure cnacer,AIDS,diabetes,Autism and every other disease known to man. No It isn't prayer although that always helps. It is a well known fact (in some circles such as alternative health) that ALL DIS-EASE is always, always ALWAYS preceded by an energy imbalance in your body. The energy imbalance can be caused by any number of things including but not limited to : Our mind,toxins,fatigue/exhaustion,exposure to strong EMF fields, injuries and a host of other things. The imbalance allows bacteria and virii to enter into our body and make us sick. These imbalances are photographable and detectable with sensitive electronic instruments and also by Medical Intuitives (research Dr. Norm Shealy Springfield MO and Carolyn Myss his medical intuitive assistant) There is a gentleman a former Doctor in Las Vegas who has developed nothing less than Star Trek Technology right here right now which heals at a distance and is all computerized and databanked. Every single dis-ease has a unique "energy frequency signature" and it never varies from one person to another. by exposure to a proper "counteracting healing frequency" the balance is restored and the body automatically heals itself as it was designed to do. Wayne Dyer,Burt BAccharach,Herb Alpert ae just a few of the recognizable names that have used the treatment to be healed. Herb Alpert's wife was dying of cancer and she was totall healed. A friend of mine after having 7 major heart attacks was up painting his house within 30 day and within six months was tramping around the jungles of South America, searching for oil within 6 months. I have used a similar technology myself to good effect but nothing as major as cancer or AIDS. I have been in the alternative health field for a number of years and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Reiki Master.. The Technology was developed by a former doctor who realized that medicine was not doing the job it was supposed to do. Healing people. So he gave up his medical license and no longer diagnoses diseases nor treats diseases in any way shape or form. As he says :"The ONLY thing I do is re-balance energy and the body heals itself." And guess what! It works better than anythig else that ever came down the pike. There is a book aoubt him and his work called "SANCTUARY" by Stephen Lewis and Evan Slawson which I highly recommend. The price for a year of treatment is $1000 US payable at $100 a month or if you pay all up front you get 14 months treatment. Many people uses it as a maintenance plan to keep from getting sick. That is some pretty cheap insurance. You can visit the website at http//www.energeticmatrix.com and you can buy the book on the website or from any good bookstore.
The next item is:COLLOIDIAL SILVER. I have personally witnessed a lady who had been given less than 30 days to live because of AIDS being totally AIDS free. She was still HIV positive but AIDS free. She gave up all medication save the colloidial silver and started taking Reiki treatments(Hands on energy work) She is still alive and well and resumed her former career as a professional clown. Colloidial silver kills all known bad bacteria and virii(viruses) and has no side effects unless you take massive massive doses of it. It can be used topically on a wound or sore with incredible results. Bedsores in nursing homes and hospitals are a major problem and are extremely hard to treat but colloidial silver knocks them out in no time at all when used topically. It can also be used as a maintenance program as well and should be in everyone's first aid kit and medicine cabinet.
The most important healing of all is the recognition by each and every person that ther is not a you and I but only the Great I AM. The ONENESS of ALL THINGS. The Alpha and Omega and everything else in between. The ALL in ALL. The ALL THAT IS. It is only the belief in separation form God and our neighbor that causes thoughts of lack, fear, greed, anger, jealousy, revenge, retaliation etc. that causes all the problems. Jesus taught the ONENESS of all things and if one reads only the red leters in the bible with that idea in mind, what he taught makes a lot more sense. Love thy neigbor as thyself.(my neighbor IS myself) Do unto others(who you go DO UNTO? ME) Love your enemies(my enemy is me also)better to give than to receive(who you gonna give to? ME) Turn the other cheek(who you gonna retaliate against? ME) If the cycle of violence is ever going to end with WHOM shall it end if not ME and if not NOW then WHEN? Who you gonna hate? Who you gonna make war on? Who you gonna LOVE Who you gonna FORGIVE? The ALL THAT IS. We are all manifestations of the exactly the same thing LOVE/GOD. Fear is nothing more than and illusion and a belief that LOVE is NOT PRESENT or a non-awareness of the presence of LOVE. The only thing ever missing from any situation is what YOU yourself have failed to put into it.
I challenge anyone who reads this and disagrees with it to present me and the rest of the world a better way of living life than "Loving the ONENESS OF ALL THINGS (God) with all your heart and all you mind and all your strength and all your soul and thy neighbor as though he is yourself."
thank you again Michael and all the folks at FTW. God bless you all and keep you safe and healthy.
LIve long and prosper and may the FORCE be with you.
Namaste'
