I wasn't expecting anything sincere from the likes of this group; just more fluff! In spite of the very incidious brainwashing that MSM & this ADMIN puts forth, many I speak with are forming their own radical opinions & ideas. This was suprising to me, coming from people who don't have access to independent journalism and have never read Crossing The Rubicon, by MCR. I think there's so much dust & dirt in the air, the whole thing is starting to collapse in the eyes of many who wouldn't normally get it.

P. S. RE: the RFK & JFK commentary at On Line Journal...Good to see Mike's name mentioned but what happened to Mellansen (sp)? Was it the same thing that happened to G. Webb? Who BTW, died just after I started to read Crossing the Rubicon. This brings back the same chills I had then. I hope seeing "Bobby" will start it all up for Americans. Only if they all could read Crossing the Rubicon! And Oliver Stone's, JFK didn't exactly paint an innocent picture.

"Registered traveler program" has little to do with security.

http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2006/11/registered_trav.html

9/11 spawned a huge "security" industry that is just part of the long, long gravy train that left the station on that day. New cars are still being added, and this is one of them.

Interesting post. Of course Frist sees more bucks to be made with less hassles in "health care".

I love Larry Chin's work at Online Journal. He is one of a handful out there who get the big picture - including peak oil.

The RFK assassination is of much interest to me as I was at the hotel in 1968 before that occured and again afterward in connection with CIA-front student group YAF (I was young and ignorant at the time). My "fearless leader" in YAF was a guy who is now in the US Congress - Dana Rohrabacher - who was at the hotel the night of the RFK murder! That same year Dana, supposedly just a surf bum (with rich parents) and history student at Long Beach State college, went to Prague on holiday and "coincidently" was there when the Soviet tanks rolled in. He later became speech writer for Ronnie, who just happens to be burried on his family's property.

I hope Mike is on the mend.

On my blog I have in a number of posts pointed out how the US government is trying to implement the China model in the US. I am not the only one who thinks so.

"Americans drive less for first time in 25 years"
http://www.cnn.com/2006/AUTOS/11/30/gas_prices.reut/index.html

CERA opines that this is "more evidence that the market works and prices help control consumption," but try talking about the wonders of the market with those on the bottom of the economic totem pole (who didn't freeze last winter thanks to Chavez, and no thanks to Yergin).

Getoned -- I share your feelings about Mike. Surely, our side has lost a giant, one of the few real investigative journalists who peeled away the layers of BS and exposed the rot at the core. I have to admit that I too harbor the hope that someday, after Mike has regained his health, he will also regain his appetite for making those in power uncomfortable. But of course we know that health isn't the only thing forcing Mike into retirement. So we certainly can't blame him if he decides to rest on his laurels.

Has anyone else noticed that Wing TV's Victor Thorn - whose sole purpose in life seems to be to spread disinformation and attack anyone investingating 9/11 - has announced a hiatus on his website until 2008 due to "pressing requirements associated with a number of upcoming projects"? (driving taxi? delivering pizza?)

Good riddance, of course, but I find the timing and vagueness of his parting statement curious.

The Crash: It's no secret that the US economy is hanging on by a thread, but the character of Bush regime economic policy leads me to conclude that they are actually engineering a crash. The last six years have seen a massive upward shift of wealth, a veritable smorgasbord at the public trough for connected corporations, and rapid preparations for police-state rule. It seems to me that the elites are just getting their ducks lined up. The new America will be a quasi-Third World country with an ultra-rich elite dominating a nation of peons who are disposable labor for the factories and farms, and cannon fodder for the battlefield. Demand destruction will be achieved because most of the population will be using precious little energy.

De nada, FTW Admin...

I also thought it odd that there was no mention in the announcement of or by Lisa Guliani - Ms. Moon Hoax, Planet X, and Victor's main squeeze and partner in crime.

I guess the FBI has other plans for the both of them.

Speaking of the crash, Dmitry Orlov has a must-read presentation here:

"Closing the 'Collapse Gap': the USSR was better prepared for peak oil than the US"

It will take a while to load because of all the slides, but well worth the wait!

My perspective concurs exactly with Rice Farmer re "The Crash".

Also, Argentinian reporter Adrian Salbuchi's Through The Looking Glass view of 12-2-06 (from GlobalResearch.ca, 12-5-06) re "The World's Mastermind" (who Salbuchi opines to be the Council on Foreign Relations): "The Hidden Face of Globalization" (aka 'New World Order') very nicely dovetails with what "The Crash" is being engineered to usher in.

Goodness, what ultimately intrigueing real-life blood, tears, and utterly undemocratic forces are at play -- both behind our backs and before our eyes!

Stay tuned-in! More is definitely forth-coming.

But even this is too sanguine. The article quotes an expert who claims "95 million barrels a day of global production" in 2013, but I find it hard to believe such a level of production will be possible then, as we seem to be stalled at about 80 mbpd now.
