Next Financial Crisis Lurks Underground - NY Times

The New York Times sent a reporter to our Peak Oil Conference in 2005, the first to be held in New York City. But his purpose that day was not to write an article; rather, it was to inform his bosses of what our fringey group of wing nuts was saying.  The Times has delighted in scoffing at the Peak Oil movement, as it did, in the early days, at the 9/11 environmental movement.  In the latter case, they hav been proven irrefutably wrong and these days, like everyone else, report on the deaths which they themselves could have had a hand in preventing.  Analogously, although I can't see the entire article linked here, they now seem to be acknowledging the limitations to the "shale miracle."
