That is that the New World Order will be demanded by the very people whom it will enslave. Such is the genius of the plan: it is cheaper in terms of "marketing" to get the slaves to call for slavery themselves rather than be coerced into it.
Some of the threads: Workers demand that National governments do not disadvantage them over foreign workers. NWO logic: Global worker rules make sure the playing field is levelled.(and removes sweat-shop conditions! Magic!)

National governments give unfair cash injections to ailing national industries, creating unfair competitive advantages for foreign goods. NWO logic: balancing of nations ability to inject cash into failing businesses stops unfair competition and job losses at home.

Nations create huge injections into failing businesses that are obvious are not going to be able to be paid back. NWO logic: Putting all the debt into one basket and reducing it proportionally makes sure all bear the "debt" fairly.

The genius of this is that the "slaves" ask for and applaud the injection of their own money into these obviously dead businesses and then they applaud and demand the global debt recovery plan.
In one fell swoop debt(to the NWO inner circle) has been conjured out of nowhere, accepted by the the slaves, and then they happily go along with a great "Plan" to pay it back.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02781772864210124336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-27651184528569461372009-02-02T09:50:00.000-08:002009-02-02T09:50:00.000-08:00this blog has interesting info on foraging, even r...this blog has interesting info on foraging, even recipe for dandelion wine !:

http://www.salvationjane.net/forage.php/2008/06/

i think i just might have to try this :-)kikihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05063390775976269496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-42658131752499032572009-02-02T01:20:00.000-08:002009-02-02T01:20:00.000-08:00eyeballs, re "Not all Post-Oil-Age descents are cr...eyeballs, re "Not all Post-Oil-Age descents are created equal. However, no one gets to dodge the bullet of "the condition" i.e. the territory of Post-Peak Oil. It is the great equalizer taking all of us (with related life styles) out at the knee caps. A fortified and guarded gated community, and a survivalist retreat are both consequences of a common driver/condition. Folks, get ready. Not all Post-Oil-Age descents are created equal. The Pentagon has big plans for weathering peak oil, which came as no surprise. Everything done on the up-curve of the latter 20th century was charted with this downslope well in mind. From the links page of the excellent:
http://www.chrismartenson.com/crashcourse

comes:
On May 14, 1957, Admiral Hyman Rickover gave a speech to the Minnesota State Medical Association called "Energy Resources and our Future."

http://www.theoildrum.com/node/4394

As to the song, making the oppressive government obsolete was a nice dream. In fact, as I left college in '78, I thought we had already won. Nixon gone, Carter being new-agey and folksy, creativity abounding around me.

My mistake. And a lot of people missed the Team B exercise and then the Halloween Massacre at the White House in 1975. Neocons sprouted like seeds in moist earth back then, while we were watching Woody Allen movies and listening to Steppenwolf. They won.

Now, they have largely (though not totally) cleared out of official executive department offices. Are they gone? Can I come out from under the bed now? No, Jimmie, they're still out there, in underground laboratories and college campuses, cranking out yet more demented plans - on unlimited budgets.

A recent invention is the unlimited-flying-time, solar powered spy plane, which was developed while George Tenet was at QinetiQ, which is part-owned by Carlyle. Tenet also lately worked at L-1 Identity Contractors while they were perfecting the software discussed in this Naomi Klein classic article:

China's All-Seeing Eye http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/20797485/chinas_allseeing_eye "With the help of U.S. defense contractors, China is building the prototype for a high-tech police state. It is ready for export." Tenet's chief of staff at CIA was John Brennan, now officially "counterterrorism officer" of the NSC. He might have been CIA director, but for his public defense of waterboarding.
These people not only have more money than we do, and huge, badly-bent brains, but they know where the nukes are buried and which politicians did what and where the photos are stored. They are information rich, much richer than we are, even together. (By the way, what happened to Poindexter and TIA? Did he make backups?)

So I'm thinking that a little perspective is needed, a little strategic humility, to realize that we really are going over the cliff, and that TPTB are in disarray on one level, but way better prepared than we could possibly have been or be in the near future.

There's really no sense in trying to "win" the Powerplay against TPTB. To me, "win" is surviving -- not only me but the people I love and the most important of the social options I hold dear (regular meals for everyone, public libraries and people able to walk down the street without lethal weapons, all spring to mind, and even this much is an idealistic hope).

Whether we ever get Nuremberg II, is not even at the top of my list. Who knows? One can always hold the amusing hope of it. Let's strategize without this baggage, though, okay?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15089030424077326543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-61878790017218558142009-02-01T08:32:00.000-08:002009-02-01T08:32:00.000-08:00From Australia - Time for a New World Order:http:/...From Australia - Time for a New World Order:

http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2009/01/30/1232818725574.htmlUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14546898084383674882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-85446149179440833232009-02-01T08:12:00.000-08:002009-02-01T08:12:00.000-08:00For ihavequestions:I guess I'd rather die of a bul...For ihavequestions:
I guess I'd rather die of a bullet wound than starve to death.

For RanD:
I'm sorry, but it's just weird when someone refers to themself in the first person.

For Guy Fawkes:
I ADORED "V for Vendetta"! In the course of trying to figure things out there is a process we all unwittingly go through akin to the five steps of grieving. The shock I felt while reading Rubicon was not only mental but physical. I am still in the anger phase as I listen to lying politicians and useless news reports from anchors who are merely parroting propaganda. Another emotion in the process is sorrow; mine is as a result of not being able to convince those I love that the threat is real and very close. And lastly and perhaps fatally, is confusion. It is difficult to plan when you don’t know which type of weapons the enemy will use…in fact will my friend the cop become the storm trooper to save his own skin? Will confiding in a neighbor mean I’ll be sold out? This blog, while acting as a physic on my intestines, is like a support group. It helps to know you’re all here but ultimately each of us will live or die by our decisions.

“You don't have a clue what is going on and neither do the American people because if they did, there would be a revolution in this country.”
- Former Texas Gov. Paying homage to a pap icon who has had nasal linings surgically replaced due to the amount of nose candy that has gone up them leaves one wondering about realistic political analyses of cultural decadence. Fortunately things did not devolve down to the level of heralding the politically-elevated consciousness of Bruce Springsteen and Bono. An imperialistic social psyche (cultural imperialism inclusive) is a tricky thing if one has not shed its tentacles. Should anyone start a string on dealing with inner-child crises and feelings during the age of Post-Peak Oil, I am seriously going to have to consider going in search of my pitch fork (As in: Gag me with a pitch fork, please!). =:-D

Onto the biz at hand…

Re Davos: One interpretation that is likely good as another is that the European Bilderbergers are taking the boots to the American Bilderbergers, Obama’s feigned ignorance of the CFR (his VP), Trilateral Commission and Bilderbergers (even though he and Hillary were whisked off to a meeting during the primaries) notwithstanding. Shades of Oceana, Eastasia and Eurasia anyone? The guiding hand of Z Big is guiding straight into Afghanistan, as Mike pointed out in Rubicon. This could turn out to be a serious mistake. One of the common features of empire decline is military over-reach.

Also re Davos and pulling the plug on the dollar: Let’s not forget that when Saddam Hussein broke away from his leash, the only real WMD he had up his sleeve (and was prepping to use it) was breaking away from the dollar as payment for Iraqi oil in favor of the Euro. For this, he warranted a major slap on the wrist, i.e. his life.

The dollar is/was, in effect, the petro-dollar. Light bulbs on, anyone?

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon’s reference to the "bottom billion" hits a particular chord in relation to the recent string on global die-off.

Lastly, re “On the other hand, today President Obama and Joe Biden made a very convincing statement in support of the Middle Class -- that the door is wide open.” Is this kind of Pollyanna, jingoistic cheer leading really necessary? What useful purpose does it serve? One could be tempted to wonder who is playing whom…and to what extent. A civilization collapses. The bobbing heads and sock puppets that make up an administration, no matter what their supposed political affiliations, are powerless to dodge this bullet on behalf of their constituencies. Ain’t that what it’s all about? Ain’t that the meta-driver that sparks all the rest? The notion of being without power, of confronting a problem that seemingly has no solution?

The map is not the territory.Sebastian Ernst Roninhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17577726817981722245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-5660580719498710052009-02-01T04:39:00.000-08:002009-02-01T04:39:00.000-08:00ms kitty - cluster fudge! love it. will surely b...ms kitty - cluster fudge! love it. will surely be Jim Kunstler's favorite flavor.

Mike- another song for the playlist - "Powerplay" by Steppenwolf...

What gives you the right hey you
To stand there and tell me what to do
Tell me who gave you the power
To stop me from livin' like I do
Remember if you plan to stay
Those who give can take away
Don't bite the hand that feeds you

Just one time I'd like to be somewhere where
None of your clever lies fill the air
I'm tired of your frozen smile and your voice of tin
Just might all gang up on you
Turn the knob and do you in

Remember if you plan to stay
Those who give can take away.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you

This never ending power play
"Tween Jealous greed and vicious hate
Is grinding us like giant millstones
But it can't be our only fate
It's time we got our heads together
And let'em know that we're awake

Those in the dark, you know they're no longer blind
They're breakin' from your strangle hold on their minds
Those that can see don't need no one to cross the street
Be careful who you're pushin' round
They just might find you obsolete

Remember if you plan to stay
Those who give can take away.
Don't bite the hand that feeds youPandaboniumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08352197350806179930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-56959996812399213032009-02-01T01:55:00.000-08:002009-02-01T01:55:00.000-08:00A thought occurred to me today, in which I found s...A thought occurred to me today, in which I found some 'relief.'

In corollary, Peak Oil means Peak Pentagon.

So this is as bad as it gets.Meremarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06110611916487181303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22903415.post-90082959231400974262009-02-01T01:00:00.000-08:002009-02-01T01:00:00.000-08:00On transition towns:Nice response,LeoBro. Whateve...On transition towns:

Nice response,LeoBro.

Whatever totalitarian or anarchic (or both at once) impositions may be made on a community, it will either be healthy enough to handle, or not. Consider a body that contacts a little flu virus. If the body is healthy, it gets a headache, a brief fever, then goes to work the next day strong as ever. If the body is depleted, confused, stressed, it could be two weeks of aching and heaving. Some die.

A healthy community is interconnected by needful interdependence, pleasurable interaction, group activities. A healthy community knows and controls the sources of its food and water, and can replace them to some extent in a crisis because of the planning and knowledge base that have been cultivated in advance. A healthy community does not cry out for imposed order because it is taking care of its own. A healthy community disarms or chases off (or sometimes kills) marauders and miscreants without losing too much energy. A healthy community is well-informed, well-educated, and enjoys strong communication both among its members and with intelligence outside.

Transition towns might encourage these aspects of community health. As for structure, the stated (in bold face) role of government is
SUPPORTING, NOT DRIVING.

In many cases the government could just make unused land and facilities available, adjust codes to allow sensible innovations, and then get out of the way.

I don't think we're in much danger of "Ecofascism", anyway.

Might as well check out the Transition Primer available free, online: http://transitiontowns.org/TransitionNetwork/TransitionPrimerUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15089030424077326543noreply@blogger.com
