What a perfectly New England dumbass solution to "security". The next time some mentally deranged halfwit enabled by mama shows up looking for hunting grounds guaranteed to be self defense free, he will be captured in HD!! Being a New Yorker Jenna, would you say you fall into this world view of what passes for "security", setting up plenty of cameras to sky on folks, in lieu of allowing citizens to protect themselves?

i ain't set up no security cameras nowhere but if you're talking about new york in general... I'm still not in favor of all those spying streetlamps.

There is a reason for surveillance, I get that, but I think no one should be watching them until someone files a report on a crime that might have happened near one. Then you crack open the tapes and see, otherwise, no one should care.

Sandy Hook was a tragedy, but the solution will never be setting up cameras to watch the next one in HD. As long as administrators and politicians are willing to guarantee a smorgasbord of targets that are't allowed to defend themselves, the nut jobs will seek them out.
